Services Offered by a Cosmetic Dentist

By Arthur Kezian

A smart resident would not live with toothaches and bad tooth conditions when a dentist can be secured in that city easily. There are many options of dentist who can assist with oral hygiene and cosmetic appearances on the teeth.
More and more people should recognize the importance of good oral health. One can make use of their company dental insurance for dental services to ensure the good health and presentation of their teeth.

Types of dental cosmetic

Numerous dental issues can be easily corrected as in teeth spacing, shaping, crowding and shading. Bad teeth conditions need not be tolerated; misaligned teeth can be refitted and shaped using porcelain bridges or veneers for that perfect smile.

Another procedure that a dentist can take on is dental veneers. This choice of dental cosmetics functions to improve the shape and color of the front teeth for a better appearance.
Laser whitening of the teeth is another dental cosmetic procedure. It is very safe and effective although one must care for the treated teeth well as discoloring may come on again. Laser teeth whitening done by a skilled dentist will be quick and painless to remove the discolored teeth caused by poor oral hygiene or smoking.
Cosmetic_dentist_in_los_angeles_2

A dentist is also qualified to treat bad tooth for crowns and veneers to remove the pain and to improve the tooth’s appearance while restoring its functionality.

Objectives
With cosmetic dentistry, one can feel more confident in baring a mouthful for whatever purpose such as talking, laughing, chewing or smiling. Simple teeth improvements can often boost the self confidence and esteem of the wearer rather than hide behind tight lips and being self conscious about every move made with the mouth.
It is human nature to have one’s attention directed to the teeth whenever in the presence of another in any form of verbal communication or feasting.

Post Treatment
Many procedures require some form of surgery although it can be minor. The cosmetic dentist will advise the patient on postoperative measures to avoid discomfort and pain after the dental treatment. There may be a course of antibiotics to be taken should such pain come on.
Throbbing sensations are the most common after treatment discomfort. This can be avoided with the head held up whenever possible while avoiding strenuous actions. Any gum swelling after the cosmetic treatment should be rinsed frequently with warm salt solution.

Stuck Trying to Find a Good Family Dentist?

By Arthur Kezian
When you start on your dentist search, you should be looking for a partner.  After all, the two of you will be working together to ensure your oral health, so you need someone that you feel comfortable teaming up with!
Your friends and relatives may have some recommendations for you, but you don’t have to take their word for it.  In the age of the Internet, it’s easy to find comprehensive dentist Hollywood reviews – along with all of the other information you need to find a dentist who suits your needs.
As you try to find a dentist, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and don’t be afraid to look at several different choices.  Remember, it’s your oral health.  If you don’t take it seriously, you could wind up with some pain down the road!
So, when it comes to a good family dentist, what should you be looking for?
The 4 C’s:
A3
1.      Convenience
You and your family need a dentist who is close by.  With people working long hours and sitting in traffic to get virtually everywhere, you need a dentist’s office that is easy to get to.  Otherwise, you’ll wind up stuck in traffic when you need his help!

B2
2.      Credentials
You can’t trust something as important as your oral health to just anyone.  You need a dentist with the right credentials – like a degree from a prestigious school and professional affiliations with the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
You also need someone who is either a DDS (a Doctor of Dental Surgery), or a DMD (a Doctor of Dental Medicine).

B1
3.      Comfort
Lots of people are afraid of going to the Hollywood dentist.  You should be trying to find a Cosmetic dentist Los Angeles who makes you feel warm and welcome – from the moment you walk in, until the moment you walk out.  Don’t just look at the dentist himself; see how his entire staff acts.  Something like a rude receptionist or a nasty hygienist can make your dental experience a nightmare.

4.      Cost- effective
A good dentist will work with your dental insurance company to get your claims paid.  Or, if you’re paying for the services yourself, a good Hollywood dentist will let you know how much services and procedures cost – before you’re sitting in the patient chair.

Don’t leave your dentist search up to chance.  Instead, do your homework and make an informed decision. We have plenty of dentist reviews, tips, and advice that can make finding a Hollywood dentist much easier!

Want a Smile Makeover? Get Dental Porcelain Veneers!

By Arthur Kezian
If you have been dreaming of a smile makeover, California is the perfect place to be.  Home to movie stars and the very best dentists, you can make some big changes to your pearly whites.  And, if you are looking for a way to permanently improve the look of your smile, dental porcelain veneers are a great way to do it.  In fact, going to a cosmetic dentist is one of the trendiest ways to look better.
If your goal is to get great porcelain veneers offer the full package.  They can improve the position, the shape, the size, and the color of your teeth.  Broken, chipped, crooked, or yellow teeth are no match for properly-installed porcelain veneers!
But, at the same time, they are designed to look and feel just like your normal teeth; they just look better.  You will not have to worry about feeling strange or out of place. In fact, if they are applied properly, no one will even know you have them.  Instead, people will just notice that your smile looks great.  Some of them may even wonder what your secret is!
B2

Dental porcelain veneers are about 0.5 mm thick, or about as thick as a contact lens.  In order to make room for them in your mouth, your dentist will need to shave about 0.5 mm off the thickness of your teeth.  But, don’t worry.  The process is not painful!  In fact, most people do not even need a local anesthetic to get through it.
After your teeth have been reduced, your dentist will create a wax impression of them.  That impression will then be sent off to a lab, where your custom porcelain veneers will be created.
Your porcelain veneers will be applied to your teeth with special lightweight cement.  That cement is strong enough to keep your veneers on, and strong enough to keep bacteria out.  Many people think that your natural teeth will start to decay underneath veneers, but that’s not the case.  The cement prevents bacteria from working its way in.
A3

And, best of all, dental porcelain veneers are permanent.  Once they are applied by a dentist they can last forever – if you take proper care of them.  Brushing, flossing, and regular dental checkups and cleanings will keep your porcelain veneers looking bright and perfect forever.
But to keep them looking perfect, the right maintenance isn’t quite enough.  You will also need to avoid certain dangers.  Things like biting your nails, chewing on ice, or grinding your teeth can break or chip your veneers.  And, unfortunately, veneers cannot be repaired.  If one breaks or cracks, you will have to have a brand new one made.  If you’re not careful, a nagging habit can turn into a costly mistake!
However, breaking those bad habits is well worth it. Cosmetic dentists can give you a beautiful smile and the confidence to feel like a movie star – even if you aren’t one!

Cosmetic Dental Practices: All You Need to Know

By Arthur Kezian
Every individual likes to look great all the time; and one of the obvious ways is to have the most perfect set of teeth. This is where the professional comes in. Cosmetic dentistry is a growing arena of beauty care that is more than just facial or skin deep. It is more than the normal dental treatment by any dentist. It is not a routine dental service by any dentist.
Scope of services
The scope of services a dentist can offer is quite wide. Some may just be simple white fillings while others can involve veneers and crowns.
Cosmetic dentistry is applicable on teeth that experiences deterioration due to bad oral hygiene. Hence, you will find cosmetic dental practices in abundance to cater to the growing demand of patients.
Many cosmetic dental clinics also offer root canal therapies and periodontics as well as prosthetics for enhancing your facial look and smile.
Technique and equipment
Cosmetic_dentist_in_los_angeles

Besides being qualified and experienced, a professional cosmetic dentist would be well versed with the state-of-the-art dentistry equipment and cosmetic treatment techniques available for today. These specialists must always be updated on the latest and most advanced techniques and tools in cosmetic dentistry.
With the changing demands and needs of the community today, there is a growing demand for more cosmetic dental treatments, especially where the image of perfection is projected on the silver screen and home boxes.
But the advancing technology is helping with pricing; the better technology using cheaper resources encourage more consumers to consider cosmetic dentistry as this facet of dental care makes it more affordable to a wider consumer market.
Caution with some Cosmetic Dentistry Treatments
Cosmetic_dentist

Although you may be able to afford cosmetic dentistry treatments, there may be some points to note with certain treatments. For example, dental bleaching can whiten your teeth but unscrupulous dental providers may succumb to lower quality bleaching agents that may be harmful and reactive to your skin and health.
If you take on crowns and veneers as part of your cosmetic endeavor, you might bite too hard which can cause your crown or veneer to chip, crack or break. Hence, you should listen to your dental provider’s advice on how to handle your cosmetic dentistry treatments.
Choice of Cosmetic Dentists
It is advisable to consider the right dental treatment carefully and with the best dental provider you can find. It is better to confirm the authentic and well established providers carefully through a detailed research and proven track record.
Nevertheless, every dental provider may not be suitable with every patient.

Choosing the Right Dentist

By Arthur Kezian
The state licensing board requires some minimum practice standards from any dentist to ensure quality oral care for all consumers. This means every dentist is qualified to continue their practice. But, it is important to find a dentist that is not only qualified but is also good at what he or she does.
Good Patient Relations
B2

A dentist needs to exercise good patient relations to enjoy further services from his customers. When you feel comfortable and at ease with a dentist, you would not mind paying the higher dental fees; you will feel confident of the dentist’s skills and knowledge if he has excellent ‘bedside manners’. Not every consumer likes visiting the dentist; even for the routine oral hygiene like washing and cleaning. Hence, if a dentist practices stellar patient relations, he would have a loyal patron in his book.

His professional manners towards his patient would win more to his practice.
Qualifications
Qualified dentists must have undergone the proper academic and practical training to be fully equipped with the skills and methods on dental care and treatment. They should also be innovative in keeping up with the latest dental technology and methods so that he can recommend the better dental services to his patients.
A qualified dentist will always keep his dental knowledge updated and relevant so that he can advise his patients on the latest and better dental treatment and oral hygiene.
B1

Availability

A good dentist must be available to serve his patients the best he can. He must be able to adjust his time to serve his patients the best he can; even if it meant being an emergency dentist at times.
Reasonable fees
A good  dentist that is favorable to consumers would be one that charges reasonable fees. Although most clients would be of some high social status and dental charges should not be a concern, it is still assuring to note that a good dentist would charge only what is relevant or as per market prices. Overcharging a customer or asking for exorbitant prices would only reflect badly on the dentist as mercenary and not professional.
Dental Treatment
Another criterion in choosing the best dentist is the forms of dental treatment he practices. An excellent dentist would be open to various types of dental treatment instead of insisting only one or two types. Such a narrow minded approach only limits the potential of the dentist. So, before you choose a dentist, make sure he or she follows some of the criteria mentioned here.

Teeth Whitening – Flash That Smile Confidently

By Arthur Kezian
Teeth whitening is a safe and inexpensive way to get your teeth back in sparkling white condition. It is an effective cosmetic treatment for those who have stained and yellow teeth and cannot get the color of their teeth restored by conventional cleaning methods.
Teeth have an enamel surface that is made up of crystalline rods. The enamel protects the teeth from the harm caused to it by acts such as smoking, drinking excessive coffee and eating sweets which cause acid formation. The enamel begins to wear off as we grow older. It cracks up and begins to collect stains faster than before. Whitening treatments  are effective at removing some of the stains but the gaps in the enamel remain because of which the staining process begins all over again. Whitening makes it possible to restore the original whiteness of teeth and keeps it that way for longer periods.
Teeth_whitening_3
Genetically, our teeth are pre-disposed to a certain color range. This color deepens with time despite the best precautions. Some types of food and beverages such as coffee, tea, dark soda and red wine can cause discoloration faster. Smokers also face the same problem as the nicotine in cigarettes can also be very harsh on the teeth.
An effective whitening treatment can bring about significant changes quickly. The dentist uses a high concentration of hydrogen peroxide gel that is applied directly to the teeth. Teeth stains can be removed to a significant extent in one or two visits. For stains that are more stubborn, more visits may be required.
Teeth_whitening_4

Some dentists will give patients a whitening kit that contains of bleaching trays that can be used at home. They have a lower concentration of hydrogen peroxide gel that remains in contact with the teeth for at least one hour and at times even overnight. The best dentists provide a teeth whitening procedure that is fast and convenient, long lasting, does not affect the sensitivity of your teeth significantly and is done professionally without causing any side effects.

Teeth whitening is a well-established process in cosmetic dentistry. The active ingredient, hydrogen peroxide has been established to be safe and does not adversely affect the gums. The process works well for most of the patients except in some type of stains which are caused by antibiotics. The results vary from individual to individual and will depend on the structure of the teeth.
Teeth_whitening_2

Teeth whitening also has teeth whitening processes that can get your teeth whiter in just about one hour. The improvement in the condition of the teeth can be as much as eight shades whiter. State of the art apparatus combined with a proprietary whitening gel and blue light source can create a revolutionary whitening process. The blue light activates the whitening gel and makes it work faster and better than any other teeth whitening methods.
It is important to use the services of the top teeth whitening dentists to get the best possible results.

Want the Best Techniques for Teeth Cleaning? – 4 Tips from an Expert Dentist

By Arthur Kezian

Teeth cleaning
is a big deal.  After all, there is no better way to show off that golden suntan than with some pearly white teeth to go with it! Most people think that brushing their teeth is a no-brainer, and that it’s just something you do for a few minutes every day.  In reality, though, it’s very important.  If you don’t clean your teeth the right way, you will never have that beautiful smile that you’ve always dreamed of.
If you want to take advantage of the best techniques for teeth cleaning, start by following these 4 tips.  Created by an expert Los Angeles dentist, they will boost your smile in no time!
Teeth_cleaning_2
1.       Start by picking the right toothpaste
Toothpaste isn’t all created equally.  If you want to maximize your brushing, it starts with the proper toothpaste.  Without good toothpaste, all of the brushing in the world won’t get rid of tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath.  No matter which brand you select, you need to make sure that your toothpaste contains fluoride.  That’s the stuff that combats tooth decay and enamel wear and tear.
Some of the better toothpastes also contain polishing ingredients that get rid of unsightly plaque and stains.
As for whether you should get a gel or paste toothpaste, that’s something that you can leave up to personal preference.  If you have any questions, though, your dentist can take a look at the active ingredients and make sure you’re getting everything you need.
If you have small children, the selecting process can be a little different.  There is toothpaste that’s specially designed for kids 6 and under.  When in doubt, though, ask your dentist.
Teeth_cleaning_3
 2.       When you start brushing, it’s all about the angles
To get the most out of your cleaning, brush your teeth at a 45-degree angle, while directing the motion towards your gum line.  That angle will help you reach both the front and back sides of your teeth.

Teeth_cleaning_1

3.      For the best teeth cleaning, time really is money
No matter how rushed you are, you need to brush your teeth for about three minutes.  If you don’t brush for that long, you will not get your teeth as clean as they need to be – meaning you’ll wind up in your dentist's office with problems.

4.       Pick a toothbrush that you’re comfortable with
The best toothbrushes have a long rubber handle that gives you maximum grip – even as you make your way into the far-reaching corners of your mouth.  And, if you’re looking for a way to get your teeth as clean as possible, get a toothbrush with a smaller head.  That way, you will be able to reach every tooth, front and back.

Stop Night Grinding: Symptoms and Proper Diagnosis of TMJ Problems

By Arthur Kezian

Do you sometimes notice when you yawn, you hear a popping sound and your moth suddenly locks off in an open position? And when you wake up in the morning you feel a bit of TMJ pai
n your jaw and sometimes you get a sudden headache? This is what you call TMJ disorders and here is some useful information from your TMJ dentist you need to know about this condition.
Tmj_pain

TMJ or what you call the temporomandibular joint is considered to be one of the most complex and most used joints in our body. The TMJ is found just in front of the ears, where the jaw bone or what you call the mandible meets the temporal bone of the skull. The joint usually moves in two ways: usually in a hinge motion, and the other one is in a sliding motion. Both of these allow us to open our mouths wide and for our jaws too make all the various motions like talking, shouting, coughing, chewing and yawning.
Tmj_pain2
Symptoms of having TMJ pain are:
·        Pain in the facial or jaw muscles
·        Localized pain when chewing, talking or yawning
·        Swelling along the affected joint
·        Pain in the ear, ringing of the ears, or hearing loss
·        Grating, clicking, or popping sound when you try moving the jaws
·        Locking of the jaw
·        Headache
·        Neck or back pain
·        Trouble swallowing and eating
Tmj_pain3
If you have experienced these symptoms lately, it is best to consult your dentist about it. There are reversible and permanent treatments offered for this type of condition. Dr. Arthur Kezian and his staff will be glad to assist you and offer you the best treatment there is.

Follow These Tips to Find the Best Dental Office

By Arthur Kezian
The hundreds of dentists found in Hollywood mean that it can’t be that hard to get any dental services needed at any one time. However, finding the best dentist is what can prove to be a challenge for many. Following a few tips can however land you in the able hands of a good dentist who will offer you the kinds of services and results you are looking for from your procedure.
Always check the reputation and experience: there is nothing worse than settling on a dentist who does not have the necessary knowledge and experience as it means the results could be disastrous. To keep such situations at bay, there is a need to first check on how well trained and experienced the dentist is. The comments and reviews posted on the dental office or individual dentists will also help in selecting the best dental office.
A1

Consider the services on offer: dental services come in many forms and there is no telling what you might need to have done as different circumstances expose us to different needs. A good dentist should be able to cover all kinds of dental procedures that are necessary to assure you that you will effectively be taken care of regardless of the situation. Apart from service diversity, the dental clinic you settle for should offer emergency services as these are the most important in saving your dental health.

A2

Ensure the location is convenient: during the selection process; you might need to check to be sure that you can access the dental facility or the dentist at any time the need to do so might arise. The location of the dentist should be convenient for you as there is no telling what kind of services you might need and at what time the need may arise. The proximity is especially important for emergency services as wastage of time could lead to permanent damages that could have otherwise be taken care of with ease.
B2
During your first meeting or encounter with your dentist, you should have the feeling of being appreciated which will give you the trusting spirit in the dentist. A good dentist is one you are able to strike a friendly environment and one who listens to your needs first before even offering any kind of solutions to them. This means that personality of the dentist does matter in a major way.
A good dentist will for instance take the time to listen to your needs before offering you advice and taking you through the possible procedures in dealing with the problem at hand. In handling you as a patient, he should also make you feel more of a friend with the way he explains everything to you. The best dentist is one who will make you feel as comfortable as possible even when the procedure seems risky and dangerous. Settle for a dentist you are at ease and comfortable with to make all your experiences successful.

Green Tea May Be Good for Periodontal Health

By Arthur Kezian
I’m pretty sure you heard the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!” What do you think would probably keep you away from the dentist? The answer would be a cup of green tea. Yes, recent studies from Japan show that consuming green tea on a regular basis may help promote periodontal health and prevent gum disease. But of course, remember you still have to visit your dentist on a regular basis.
A2
Nowadays, a lot of people are getting more and more conscious about their health. People would really spend time and effort to look for food and beverages which will benefit their overall health. So now is a good time to read about the benefits of green tea which has been also linked to having healthy teeth and gums.  Researchers have found out that middle-aged men from Japan ages 49 to 59, who had regular intakes of green tea had better periodontal health compared to those with less consumption of this type of beverage.
B1
There are lots of speculations about the wonders of drinking tea and now the demand for this drink is getting popular because of the proven health benefits it has been giving people for quite some time already.  Imagine not only will green tea give you a healthy and good looking appearance but will also be responsible with promoting healthy teeth and gums. Green tea is rich in antioxidants and the one which is responsible on the beneficial effect on the gums are what you call “catechins”.
B2

What are the benefits of “catechins” to ones periodontal health?
·        It helps fight bacteria producing cavity from Streptococcus mutans which clings to the teeth. S. mutans uses sugars in the mouth which produces a sticky colorless deposit called plaque combined with saliva and food which produce deposits that collect on teeth and where teeth and gums meet.
·        Green tea helps inhibit the production of plaque which is a type of colorless deposits which constantly forms on the tooth surface. The buildup of plaque is the primary factor in periodontal disease discovered by a dentist.
·        Catechins found in green tea makes the tooth surface a bit more slippery which gives bacteria a hard time to cling onto the enamel.
A3
Perhaps the most effective benefit of green tea would involve the bacteria responsible for causing gum disease where the patient ends up having the dreaded root canal treatment. Japanese researchers recently did a “test tube” study with different bacteria strains taken from patients having infected root canals. There were 24 bacterial strains which were taken into consideration. Put of the 24 bacterial strains, 21 were inhibited and completely destroyed by the green tea extracts. There are 4 different types of Japanese green tea extracts – the refined, ordinary, course and roasted.
Not only green tea has a multitude of benefits towards a good and healthy body and gum disease, it now also plays an important part with fighting bacteria in our mouth. Enjoy a cup of green tea everyday to ward of cavities, improve your immune system, give you a healthy heart, and beautify your skin as well.

Do Not Be Afraid, It’s Just a Root Canal

By Arthur Kezian
You often hear people say that “they would rather have this type of pain than have a root canal”. This is how scared people are when it comes to root canals. Pain is an inevitable feeling and the fear of having a root canal gives people that unpleasant notion. But, root canals are the solution when you have an infection or severe decay on your teeth. Instead of having your tooth pulled out, your RCT dentist might offer you the option to do a root canal and save that tooth.
A1
A2
Having a root canal will definitely alleviate the pain you have been feeling that makes you agitated, restless, at most times affects your daily routines. Painful root canal is such a thing of the past. Endodontists or root canal professionals have intricately perfected this procedure and science and technology has gone a long way to be able to give you the utmost comfort when having this type of procedure. Go to your dentist immediately. Don’t just take pain relievers, because that will not fix your tooth. The problem will persist unless you get to a dental office and compose a plan with your dentist.

B1
A3
Your dentist will explain to you that a root canal is a type of dental procedure or treatment which is done to repair and save a tooth which has badly decayed or infected. A diagnostic x-ray often goes with it. During the root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed by the use of endodontic files. The inside of the tooth is then cleaned with antibacterial agents and sealed with root canal cement. Without root canal treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and an abscess may be formed on the bone area.

Characteristics
To ensure that you get the best dentist, check if he will explain all issues and procedures to you clearly and simply so that you can understand exactly what is involved. You should know exactly what the procedure is as recommended to you with the side effects and costs.

B2

A dentist should be patient in running over the required details of every recommended treatment while explaining clearly the full condition of your oral hygiene before making recommendations.
For every procedure recommended, the dentist should also indicate its pros and cons with the expected duration to be taken by the procedure, the type of materials and equipment used and the durability of the implants or effects of the treatment.
Before the treatment or procedure is to be carried out, the dentist should perform a thorough check on the viability of the procedure on you as not everybody is suited to every dental procedure.

A3

There must be a thorough check up on your teeth, mouth and gum condition as well as your general health before proceeding with any dental procedure. Some with sensitive teeth are not recommended for certain dental treatments as they may experience severe pain.
The dentist should be an expert in performing a thorough screening on your teeth, mouth and gum with an X-ray or a CT scan to prove the health of your mouth and body.
It is important for a dentist to determine if any anesthesia is required in any dental procedure. In many dental procedures, local anesthesia is required to control the pain so that the patient will not be discomforted. The professional dentist should be sensitive to caring for your comfort and peace of mind during any dental procedure.

Tooth Brushing Tips by Your Dentist

By Arthur Kezian
Most of us do not pay too much attention to how we brush our teeth. There are some factors to consider for the process to be effective. Selecting a toothpaste that suits your dental hygiene needs is of utmost importance. When this is combined with the proper brushing techniques, it is your best defense against harmful oral conditions, such as tooth cavities, bad breath, gum diseases, and tooth loss. Fluoride is an ingredient found in toothpastes that prevents decay and helps in repairing teeth that are already beginning to deteriorate. Other ingredients found in toothpastes may also help remove plaque and stains over a certain period of time if used consistently. Good quality toothpastes leave a fresh feeling in your mouth even hours after brushing.

In today’s market, there are so many types of toothpastes to choose from. There are toothpastes in gel or paste form, toothpastes for whitening, toothpastes for sensitive gums, etc. Apart from this, there are also so many different flavors to choose from. Ultimately, the choice is up to you, but it is best if you ask your dentist if the toothpaste that you prefer contains the right ingredients that fit your needs. Oftentimes, we hear that a pea-sized amount of toothpaste is sufficient to clean your teeth thoroughly. This information is correct. Brushing your teeth at a 45-degree angle is the key to good tooth brushing. One must direct the brush’s motion toward the gum line, making sure to brush the front and back part of your teeth, especially the backside, because these hard-to-reach places are a breeding ground for bacteria. It is simple to teach children how to brush their teeth properly. Use only a small amount of toothpaste, as suggested, and purchase toothpaste that is pleasing to their taste. For best results, select a toothpaste that is intended for children ages six and under because these contain the right ingredients that are made especially for delicate teeth. The ideal amount of time for brushing your teeth is three minutes. This is enough time to ensure that your teeth are completely clean and ready for a checkup.

Each person has a different set of teeth and gum type. There are varying kinds of toothbrushes that are specifically made for certain teeth types or gum types. The typical toothbrush contains 2,500 bristles, which are grouped into what is called tufts. In the head of the brush, these groups of bristles are folded and inserted into holes, which are then fixed in place. The handle is often made of plastic and rubber and is available in different styles, designed for maximum comfort and reach. This is important because if the handle is short, it will be hard to clean the backside of the teeth. To be able to reach the difficult areas of the mouth, it is recommended that you use a toothbrush with a small head. Of course, in the end, it is up to you whether to follow the suggestions made here. If you are not comfortable using a small toothbrush, then by all means, get a larger one. As long as the brush and the toothpaste meet your needs and the method for brushing is done correctly, a healthy set of teeth is not too far within reach.
